Art has been a lifetime passion for Ruth. Her creative expression
is found through many mediums. Glass, pottery, painting and music
As a teen Ruth won a Young Artists Award through a juried show at the
Art Gallery of Hamilton. She graduated top of her class in art at highschool and continued on at Sheridan College,
graduating in 1971.
Glass is the ultimate in pure colour, illuminated with light and changed
with texture. Ruth feels it is an artist's job to evoke emotion and please the eye. Use of graphic and linear
design, bold colour and pleasing shapes, transform functional glass into one of a kind works of art. Each piece is unique.
